[Sugar-devel] Sugarizer Vue.js UI Meeting #2 : 6th June 2022

Hey everyone,
Today, I had the 2nd meeting related to the project with Lionel Laské.
Tasks of the previous week:

   - Task #1: I was working on the
   https://github.com/llaske/sugarizer/pull/1022 issue which is related to
   displaying a message when MediaViewer activity is empty.
   - Task #2: I was working on
   https://github.com/llaske/sugarizer/issues/1075 i.e. I have to add the
   Previous/Next button to navigate in images of DollorStreet Activity.
   - Task #3: To write a sample activity with tour using intro.js. This
   will ensure it could work as expected in Sugarizer (also similar UI). This
   will help to replace the old bootstrap-tour library with intro.js.

Problems experienced last week:

   - Task #1: This issue is completed and merged.
   - Task #2: This pull request is in work because calling
   showImageCarousel multiple times create huge pollution of the DOM and
   created a problem with the feature of hiding the previous button when its
   image of index 0. Also, global variables should be avoided.
   - Task #3: IntroJs UI is still not compatible with the current
   bootstrap-tour box UI. IntroJs don't give the feature of a custom template.
   So, mainly button UI is not set.

Tasks of this week:

   - Task #1: I will continue the work on dollar street issue
   <https://github.com/llaske/sugarizer/issues/1075>, i.e previous week's
   task #2, i.e. will be working on above-mentioned problems.
   - Task #2:  Will be working on making a more compatible tour UI using
   introJS, by adding a custom class for buttons, If this didn't work then
   will try to implate the same with driverJs tour library.
   - Task #3: Will be exploring Vue unit testing
   <https://fr.vuejs.org/v2/guide/testing.html> for fronted using its docs.
   This will help to write testing for the files which will be written to
   replace enyoJs.

The next meeting is scheduled for next week on Monday.
