Similar problems can be tackled differently using social response rather
than technological response.  In adult teacher training I did last year,
some similar situations were raised, such as adult learners who have
left their assessment items at home as part of a childish attempt to
avoid assessment.  Several solutions were proposed; duplicating the
assessment items (technological), keeping them in the school building
(technological), or simply not performing the assessment for the class
until all were prepared (social).  The social control had the strongest
learning result.
