Well, if we were to migrate to Launchpad, we would be able to use
Launchpad's OpenIDs <https://help.launchpad.net/YourAccount/OpenID> for SSO
(since Wiki, Git, etc all support OpenID), and Launchpad groups for access
control. (such information can be accessed either via the LP API or the
OpenID spec).
You can try out the login process at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/, it seems
well-done.
