[Systems] Account management.

Over the next couple of months, I intend to research, compare, and
implement a Account  management system for Sugar Labs.  Bernie has
been talking about various strategies for single sign-ons to the
various services.  I will research how other projects handle the
problem.

At a high level the Account  management system should be able to:
Create email accounts or aliases.
Create developer accounts on a developer machine.
Create MediaWiki accounts.
Create  Trac accounts.
Create Gitorious Accounts.
Keep track of members and their various permissions.

What other services am I missing?

Are there particular sign on mechanisms that I should look into?

What good membership services have you seen or worked with in the
past?  I am going to start with Fedora's Account System.
