Know English, can learn programming more quickly.
If there could be a study of young programming language learners who used,.say, spanish and those who learned at a similar age but used English, I'd love to see that done and see if using Spanish first made for similar/greater/lesser ability when they were involved in the future with English-only open source projects. Just a wish, but maybe in the future :)
