In Vmworkstation install try in sugar terminal:
 terminal errors  (roughly copied by hand)

Font is So large, unable to see all critical fields in installer and 
gparted.

In Vmworkstation install attempt in sugar terminal:

Note: cannot change font size with:

 

Xft.dpi: 201 is in /home/liveuser/.Xresources already


changes from 201 make no difference tried 100, 50, and 96 with no change.

        /boot    200 boot flag ext 2 (and fat 16)
        /           3400               ext3 ( and ext4 )
linux-swap    200

neither worked.
