Exactly. So why not leverage existing app development work in Qt *and*
GTK-based products. Nobody's saying Qt is better, or takes less time. We're
talking about enabling the porting of existing applications, which will take
work, but much less work than rewriting an app in another toolkit or
completely from scratch.

So, is the solution to fix the bug, or to rewrite Tux Paint?

Again, I don't see how it's easier to rewrite an app than it is to modify an
existing codebase, such as adding on collaboration to GCompris.
