For those of you wanting to do classroom deployments of Sugar, the 7" Kindle Fire Tablets are on sale again for $39.99. They now come in 4 colors... Black, Magenta, Blue, and Tangerine.  Sugarizer works well on them. These do include ads on the sleep screen but they do not interrupt once you unlock.

P.S. You can put the Google Play store on it and get both ScratchJr and PBS Kids ScratchJr for free.
