 *This conference,** Digital Repositories for Learning: moving from **why**to
**how**,* will feature experienced educational practitioners discussing
challenges and solutions related to creating and sustaining educational
repositories.

This is a full-day session (August 11, 2009), offered in conjunction with
the Open Ed 2009 Conference, August 12-14, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The one-day conference is sponsored by the FIPSE-funded OnCoRe Blueprint
Project.

The conference goals are:

1.       To share issues and strategies related to educational repositories.

2.       To establish a community of practice whose members will continue to
share knowledge and interact with one another after the conference
concludes.

3.       To expand knowledge and use of Open Educational Resources

4.       To expand the knowledge of and use of the OnCoRe Blueprint, a FIPSE
grant project, which provides a framework for the development,
implementation, and sustainability of digital educational repositories.
