I was able to get a live CD PC and a XO to talk to each other on a home network, using the live CD back in June, the PC with live CD did not support wifi it was ethernet back to the wifi modem, the XO was Wifi http://tonyforster.blogspot.com/2008/06/sharing-with-sugar.html
