We could do it this way:

  1. the teacher gets a general message that says that the
registration didn't work
  2. the message should look friendly and non-threatening
  3. following that message, show some more technical detail that
explains the problem

The technical detail exists for support purposes. Either someone on
the ground can decipher it, or the teacher can quote it to us. What
matters is that there's sufficient detail to start diagnosing the
problem.
