And don't forget, a lot of waiting. This kind of changes can take
more than a year to get to the public, since it needs to be approved
upstream at (e)glibc and then all the way down. And every project has
its development schedule, in which usually for a release they pick an
upstream version for every package and keep it for all the release
lifetime, meaning changes upstream other than fixes will not go down
until the next release.
As examples, in Ubuntu they pick a new glibc version every six months,
in Debian every few years (for stable). So, send the files upstream
when ready and don't wait to get the files back, just send them to the
main Sugar distributors too and we will apply them in the meantime.
