#4780: CPU usage goes up significantly after The Frame UI is accessed
---------------------------------------------+--------------------------
       Reporter: sfeltman | Owner:
           Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: Unspecified by Maintainer | Milestone: Unspecified
      Component: Sugar | Version: Unspecified
       Severity: Major | Keywords:
Distribution/OS: Fedora | Bug Status: Unconfirmed

 Steps:
 1. Boot Sugar on a stick based on Fedora 20
 2. Once booted into Activities UI, use Ctrl+Alt+F2 to open a new console
(make sure "The Frame" UI is NOT opened before doing this).
 3. Login as root and run "top". Notice CPU usage is generally minimal
 across processes.
 4. Use Ctrl+Alt+F1 to get back to activities.
 5. Mouse into one of the screen corners to open "The Frame" UI.
 6. Use Ctrl+Alt+F2 to go back to top.

 Result:
top will show a python2 process taking a lot of CPU time, this stays for
 the remainder of the session.

I initially noticed this on a netbook running (HP 2133) Sugar on a Stick
where the process will start taking 75% of the CPU constantly. In a VM on
a powerful machine, the CPU goes to about 15% of constant usage.

Note the CPU usage does not go up after launching activities directly
after booting, only when "The Frame" UI is used.
