Yes, the installed version was 0.112. I guess the Ubuntu ppa was outdated. I will build and install. Thanks for the help.

What version of the Sugar Toolkit did you install?

When you choose "apt install", you are relying on the Debian or Ubuntu
projects to have packaged Sugar Toolkit.

Support for Python 3 was added in version 0.116.

Make sure you have version 0.116 at least.
