If you are not using some of the platform deps it doesn't mean they are
superfluous. You could certainly build only part of sugar or omit runtime
deps, but then only part of the functionalities would work. You are welcome
to do custom builds with only the few components you need, but that's not
what sugar-build was written for. The goal here is to build the complete
platform, including new components like the HTML libraries and tools.
