As discussed in the Design Meeting today, here are some variations on the colouring of the tabs, with the goal of making the tab design feel more part of the Sugar toolbars, and to be more clear which toolbars is currently selected (especially an issue when there are only two tabs open):

1) A simple square tab design with inactive tabs and additional space using the toolbar fill dark grey, all widgets in white, and fixed size tab widths.



2) Same as above but with simple rounding to the selected tab



3) Selected tab in toolbar dark grey fill, with inactive tabs and additional space in mid grey



4) Same as above but with a small rounded edge detail on the selected tab



5) Same as above but with additional 's' rounding details on each separator



There are a quite a number of ways the rounded details could be styled, but as mockups go I like 5 the most (If we want to go rounded tabs), and 3 (if we want to keep it simple with square corner tabs).
