Thanks for pointing out.  I looked at the above ticket.

Data modelling example you gave requires Key:value pair support on the
concept node itself.  FreeMind supports a feature: Add Attribute by
right click.  This is useful too!  Link labeling is required for
relations supporting arrows and crow-feet.

As soon as we get close to such result we will submit a patch for your
comments and testing.
