Hi all,

have entered some tickets in trac that I think are suitable for being
taken by one or more people interested in giving a hand in activities
development.

I find these tasks as quite simple to execute while having a high value
for the children and serving as a good introduction to the Sugar
technologies.

#2836: implement zooming in Read: https://dev.laptop.org/ticket/2836
#2837: Implement TOC navigation in Read: https://dev.laptop.org/ticket/2837
#2838: Read should save in the journal state info: https://dev.laptop.org/ticket/2838
#2839: Use Read for displaying images: https://dev.laptop.org/ticket/2839

None of them require tons of code being written, they are more about
exposing in the UI capabilities already offered by Evince
(http://www.gnome.org/projects/evince).

They basically require some basic knowledge of python, pygtk and gtk+.
Questions about Evince can be answered primarily by Marco and, to a
lesser extent, me. Either in #sugar (http://wiki.laptop.org/go/IRC) or
in this mailing list.

Cheers,

Tomeu
