This link was circulating over the weekend: how do you explain computer
programming to a 15 year old in 30 minutes or less?

What I like most about these answers is that they should work even when
time is short and kids already use computers at home. There are some quick
exercises and thought experiments to help understand code in a way that
everyday computer use shields us from.
