 Using OLPC-AU testing build [1] and Sugar 0.102 packages, you will notice
 that when using the frame palette Gtk.Adjustment such as sound-volume and
 or speech-pitch, it takes a considerable amount of time to update the UI.

 Also, when this happens, the log is spammed by collaboration related
 errors such as:
