 Steps to reproduce it:

  1. Go to the eBook mode
  1. Open a new instance of Browse (the OLPC landing page is loaded)
  1. OSK keyboard is shown
  1. Start typing something (the characters appear in the google search
 entry on the page)
  1. Press "Backspace" from the OSK

 1. Go to the eBook mode
  1. Open a new instance of Browse (the OLPC landing page is loaded)
  1. OSK keyboard is shown
  l. tap into the google search field
  1. Start typing something (the characters appear in the google search
 entry on the page)
  1. Press "Backspace" from the OSK (the characters are deleted correctly)

 Issue:

 It does not work

 Expected behaviour:

 Delete the latest char inserted

 Environment:

 XO-4 13.1.0 build 11

 I adjusted the steps for reproduction. Looks like a focus issue.
