Comment:

 A long time ago, I saw a mockup made by Eben that proposed, when booting
 Sugar for the 1st time, 4 diagonal outward pointing arrows would occupy
 the 4 corners of the home view. As soon as the frame was activated, they
 would be covered and gone by the time the frame hides again. I think it's
 pretty elegant and effective.
