Comment(by dsd):

 While there may be a basis to make the platform detection code more (or
 less?) complete, I can't see the behaviour being described here. Testing
 13.1.0 build 20, the quality selection appears and works in video mode on
 XO-4 and XO-1.75. On XO-1, the high quality option does not appear.
