 os140py; (sugar 0.88); F11-on-XO1 - After recording a video (or audio)
 clip in Record-81, then playing it back (within Record itself), part of
 the output picture gets overlaid with a black rectangle.  The shelf at the
 bottom of the Activity's screen also gets messed.

 On the same machine/build, when Record-79 is used, the output picture does
 not get overlaid;  and the shelf at the bottom of the Activity's screen
 extends all the way from screen edge to screen edge.

 [A snapshot of the black overlay in Record-81 is easiest to take while
 playing back an audio clip.  (Note: the audio clip sounds faint to me.)]
