 Thanks for giving this a try again! :)

 boot process (/usr/share/system-config-date/timezoneBackend.py line 57,
 AttributeError:'module' object has no attribute 'is_selinux_enabled'), it
 does boot correctly into Sugar after going through a GNOME auto-login
 config screen.

 This is since I wasn't sure if auto-login would work in a VM using slim,
 so nothing more than a work-around right now. It isn't the case in the
 .iso image.

 > Looking at the interface scale it looks like the dpi is incorrect for
 the 800x640 screen dimensions it's giving me (very large icons, frame,
 interface layout, home view, clipped dialogues etc), though the font looks
 correct I think this might be bug #871.

 date relative to previous Soas I've tried - Moon is only at v9 for
 example, and I've never seen 'Mail' before and have no idea where it's
 source repository is).

 Ahhhh! I forgot to change one argument in the kickstart file, so that
 we're now even getting activities pulled in as RPMs we don't want to
 include that way. This had already been fixed in the .iso, but will be
 ported to the appliance, too.

 > Finance-1 --> Keep error when stopped
 > XoIRC-4 --> launches/stops file, but out of date version
 > Pippy-25 --> launches/stops fine but font sizes break the list of
 sources and run controls, out of date

 Hm, okay! I'll be sending out requests to Fedora Package Maintainers to
 update their RPMs soonish.

 > Mail-1 --> launches/stops fine, very beta quality at the moment, where
 did it come from??

 > Etoys-100 --> launches/stops fine

 Okay, so this looks rather good to me! Finance, XoIRC, Help, Moon and Mail
 got accidentally included using RPMs. I'll fix this later...

 > Should I spend time testing the vdmk images, or is one of the other
 image build types more current?

 Well, the .iso images are more stable, but overall, the two images (.iso &
 .vmdk) should be rather equivalent (they're created on the same date, but
 the .iso image might still run a bit better).
