Comment(by eben):

 This isn't so clean cut, since it only makes sense for the actual activity
 instance, and not for the activity bundles themselves, which have until
 recently been the only item represented in home. I wonder if it would
 further confuse to offer stop on some colored instances (those that are
 running) and not on others while in the "resume recent" mode of home, or
 to have the ability to stop some in the "resume recent" mode and not have
 this option in the "start new" mode.
