 While I suppose there is nothing wrong with adding yet another control to
 tweak, I would argue that we do not want to disable this "feature". Sure,
 it is one more thing to learn, but it serves two important purposes: (1)
 it helps to disambiguate items in the Journal (granted we could probably
 automate this in some way in the future); and (2) it presents an
 opportunity to write and reflect upon what you are doing. I had been
 trying to establish a workflow in the classroom where the students spend a
 few minutes reflecting on what they did at the end of each class. This is
 where/how they do so. It is an important aspect of the pedagogy and while,
 as Tomeu points out, it is easy to ignore, at the same time, it is easy to
 establish a habit of writing with the students.

 That said, some "system" activities probably should override the prompt.
 No need to invoke it with Log, for example. But whereas these sorts of
 activities aren't typically used in the classroom, it is a low priority to
 disable.
