I recently reviewed the results of GSoC 2025 and noticed that some selected proposals came from students who appeared to have no prior contributions to Sugar Labs. At the same time, I saw that other applicants?with visible and meaningful contributions, including those who shared their proposals on the sugar-devel mailing list?were not selected. I understand and respect that selection decisions are based on multiple factors. As stated in the Sugar Labs GSoC repository: "Our decisions will be based on the contents of the final PDF proposal and our interactions with the student." With this in mind, I would like to better understand how I can improve both the quality of my proposal and my interactions with the community to align more closely with these expectations. I am eager to continue contributing to Sugar Labs and would truly appreciate any guidance or feedback that could help me prepare more effectively for the next GSoC cycle. Thank you -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
