The purge takes volunteer time that could otherwise be used for development or systems administration. The purge removes members only because they can't keep answering mail. The purge generates new member applications, which also takes volunteer time for responding to the applications. Failure to answer mail doesn't seem to be a good enough reason to disenfranchise, or make Sugar Labs appear smaller. I make no motion; that's up to a committee member. Be explicit and clear.
