It helps improve redundancy: usually you want at least 2 nameservers 
hosted in different locations. ns1.codewiz.org is located in Europe, 
while ns1.sugarlabs.org and ns2.sugarlabs.org are both hosted in the US, 
on lightwave and sunjammer.

By the way, wiki.sugarlabs.org is down, but apache is up on sunjammer.
