[Systems] Error while trying to add my alias

Gmail seems to have changed.  It seems no longer possible to add an
alias without also configuring an SMTP or IMAP server to go with it.

Unless I'm missing something in the steps involved.

I'm fine with dismantling IMAP and SMTP if necessary, rather than take
on the additional support load.
