Today we shall communicate to the Community the second call for candidates
for the Board 2017-2019 Elections.

*Member's List Update*

5 members have been added to Sugar Labs member's list since the June's
members list publication:

- Martin Abente Lahaye: Email verified on July, 2017
- Devin Ulibarri: Membership requested on August 15, 2017
- Samuel Cantero: Membership requested on July 13, 2017
- T.K. Kang: Requested to my personal email> sent to members on August 30,
2017
- Michael Ohayon: Membership requested on August 3, 2017

For a new total of *145 Sugar Labs members.*


*2017-2019 Elections Update*

So far we have 1 candidate and 4 seats available at the board.

This confirms the wiki process is doable (thank you wiki and systems
teams!) by members. It also confirms there is interest among members to be
part of the Project Leadership Committee aka Sugar Labs Oversight Board
(SLOB's).

*Deadline for Sugar Labs Membership  *

I'm proposing September 30, 2017.

#ACTION Required: Please *Samson and Ignacio, confirm date deadline for new
memberships to participate on 2017-2019 elections* so we can add that
information to the call.
