By the way, all changes to the Sugar Planet are already managed via git,
just not a public one.

We have a process to request changes to the feeds:

  https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sysadmin/Planet_syndication_request

The volume of requests is very low. I personally think the Sugar Planet
needs more editorial control and a cleaner visual design. As it is now,
the SNR is too low.
