Hello Team,

We are having a little problem with the website. The current openID that
is being installed in the site is no longer supported. The current openID
is openID 2.0 and i can't login because i use that process. But is there
any way i could register without using openID?. Thanks for your support!!

Best
Samson Goddy

If you send me an
1) *email address*, and
2) *preferred account name*,

I can have the wiki create an account and send you a reset password notice.

I have no time to look into it this week-end (I'm attending an event),
but please research a new MediaWiki plugin to replace the old one and
I'll set it up.

Feel free to install it on wiki-devel.sugarlabs.org for testing.

Yes, I meant the wiki page. So about the findings, Here is what i dig up
about the new openID called "openID connect".
https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OpenID2Migration#shutdown-timetable
. And i don't know how to install it via wiki-devel.sugarlabs.org.

*Status Summary (20 June 2015, 09:30 EDT):*

On entering 'Samson Goddy' on the 'Create account' page,

http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin&type=signup

I received a notice to choose another name as the account already existed.

Searching the Account creation log I found the following:

   - 14:03, 1 February 2014 User account Samson Goddy
   <https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/User:Samson_Goddy> (Talk
   <https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/User_talk:Samson_Goddy> | contribs
   <https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Special:Contributions/Samson_Goddy> |
   block <https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Special:Block/Samson_Goddy>) was
   created

So
I tried to login with his name and then clicked the
 'Forgot your password?' link.

That took me to the 'Reset password' page, where I entered his name again
and hit the 'Reset password' button.
The page told me that, 'A password reset email has been sent.'

Yesterday I tested and found that OpenID login are still working for Yahoo
and AOL accounts.

I updated the OpenID login message to include a 'Interim Notice',
