My concern is for nondevelopers (teachers for example) who don't know
what a "planet" is. If you don't know what it is and does, you won't
google for it.
It seems Google is now spidering the planet text, which is progress.
We need to try to lower barriers on our websites. Slashdot may be a
reference for techies, but it isn't for teachers. I will always favor
being concise; my 2009 suggestion was a rewrite since I thought the
existing text was previously agreed upon.
how about:
"Planet Sugar is a collection of blog posts by Sugar Labs contributors
- teachers, developers, deployers. Click on each title to see the
original post."
