Hello All,

We are running short on time I will pay the $12.00. Sean needs site up and working to pre-brief press contacts tomorrow.
If we want to set up on Sugar Labs Infrastructure for next event I understand Bernie's point, but if press people go to site
that is not functioning properly tomorrow we have a problem.

We have a few simple steps to accomplish this but need collaboration.

Can I get Bernie and/or Stefan along with JT and/or Mike into skype call to get this accomplished so we don"t miss
opportunity.

There isn't an export settings option for WP.com like the export posts options, so the settings would need to be set manually on a server of our own.  They were 3 major tasks;
1. Set up email blogging :: This was handled straight out of the WP.com interface, I anticipate this will be a different kind of animal on a private server.

2. New Banner / Theming :: This was not changed by myself but I am certain this can happen through the admin settings without too much trouble.3. Spanish as the default language :: earlier I learned that the feature I utilized to easily change the site's default lang. from English to Spanish is only available in WP.com - new solution will likely be a multilingual Plugin we install on the SL.org server.



I am free to tinker tonight, are we moving on the VC.SL.org server now or sticking to the VC.WP.com blog?

Ugh, domain redirection is a premium service??



How much work would it take to extract all data from the wordpress.com

instance and move it to ours?
