Good news. The packages for Ubuntu 10.04, including the fix, are ready for download from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Apache:/MirrorBrain/Ubuntu_10.04/
Please let me know if they work, or if anything needs to be changed.
(That's the same version you used before (2.12.0), just with the fix -- the 2.13.0 release is still pending.)
