I sympathize with you. Do you have any suggestions on how to throttle
incoming traffic from cron?

Can it be done at the mailman level, so it would work with all our servers?

If not, can we do something in the postfix configuration of each server?
Or maybe in cron?

I don't want to manually limit each job that can potentially go crazy,
because if we knew beforehand what could go crazy, we would have fixed
it already :-)
