I guess this is more or less what happened: Just fast enough for the 
static site (though still taking ages to load), but not for trac (that's 
very slow even on normal usage) and MediaWiki (that's not very fast as 
well).
Does your 3rd party service check just if anything is returned or does 
it test latency as well?
