It's the same old story: almost none of the web applications we
use support PostgreSQL. Some of them do, but only with patches
or at least not officially. Trac the only popular application
I know of with better support for PostgreSQL than MySQL.

Besides, I have a lot more hands-on experience on MySQL, but
I'd be willing to learn more about PostgreSQL it if there
were tangible advantages in switching.

What I really dislike is having to run both on the same
machine. At this time PostgreSQL is not even being backed up!

We still have a ridiculously small dataset :-)
