A través del trabajo diligente de Edgar Quispe Chambi, la traducción
al aymara de los siguientes conjuntos de cuerdas están ahora
completos.

Este trabajo se inició ya en 2009, con grandes progresos realizados en
SugarCampLima en 2011 y hoy es un hito muy importante a lo largo de
ese camino. Por supuesto, siempre habrá nuevas cadenas añadidas a las
nuevas versiones, pero es importante detenerse un momento y felicitar
a Edgar por su gran logro en nombre de la comunidad de hablantes de
aymara.

En este momento de alegría, debo creer que nuestro compañero José
Enrique Alanoca Laura está con los ángeles sonriendo en su mentor
Edgar desde el cielo. El trabajo de Edgar es un monumento perdurable a
nuestro compañero que no vivió para ver este gran día.

I would like to bring to your attention the achievement of a very
important milestone.

Through the diligent work of Edgar Quispe Chambi, the Aymara

This work began as far back as 2009, with great progress made at
SugarCampLima in 2011 and today is a very important milestone along
that path.  Of course, there will always be new strings added to new
versions, but it is important to stop for a moment and congratulate
Edgar on his great achievement on behalf of the Aymara speaking
community.

In this joyous moment, I must believe that our comrade Jose Henry
Alanoca Laura is with the angels smiling on his mentor Edgar from
heaven.  Edgar's work is a lasting memorial to our comrade who did not
live to see this great day.
