<br>It's a bit of a complicated discussion because we have not agreed on a clear plan on resolution independence going forward. Though, as I see it, there are two things that will affect the physicall pixel size of an icon<br>
<br></div><div>1 The "theme" which is used. i.e. the value assigned to style.STANDARD_ICON_SIZE for example.<br></div><div>2 The ratio between the logical pixels and the physical pixels.<br><br></div><div>For similar devices, say standard laptop screens, we don't even need 1. So I think it has to be possible to pass logical pixels to the API, not everything goes necessary through the theme.<br>
<br></div><div>(I'm mostly bringing this up for the sake of starting a discussion about proper support for resolution independence)<br></div><div class="im"><div> </div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">
