At present in sugar 0.98.3 Software Update hangs and does not start. User has to select frame and then exit to get back to My Settings screen and then exit. Why has it been downgraded to a low priority? Especially as <a class="closed ticket" href="http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/4321" title="defect: F18 SoaS 8 Software Update does Not start (closed: duplicate)">#4321</a> and <a class="closed ticket" href="http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/4440" title="defect: software update in sugar control panel does not start (closed: duplicate)">#4440</a> were just closed as duplicates of this bug.
