Hi,

We were using build 767 (8.2.0) on XO-1 and OLPC release 11 (Leonidas) XO 1.5 and SOAS was SOAS
Strawberry made from Ubuntu. Also, "olpc-netlogs" is this a command on terminal? As it doesn't seems to be working at my end.

Anyway I have copied the logs from /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log, which seemed to contain all the network related information.

The XO1.5 logs show the testing with a XO 1, the XO1.5 does recognize a 'olpc-mesh' and connects too but we could not collaborate between the activities. Secondly when we tried to create a new network from XO1.5 the XO1 is not able to find this new network.

Then we tried to connect to this network from the SOAS running on a acer laptop. It does find this network i.e 'gri's network'. It tries to connect (the network icon flashes on the neighborhood view) but fails and reconnects to the 'Wi-Home' which is my home wireless network. The logs here on the SOAS do not even show an failed attempt, the re-connection attempts are however present.

The logs from both machines are attached.

Grivan Thapar

In fact, I think there are a few bugs in this workflow -- Mohit, can
you file bugs with detailed information (what builds you are using on
the 1.5 and on the XO-1), and logs from the 2 machines.

If you don't know which logs to include, just use olpc-netlogs to
collect all the logs into one file.

thanks!
