Hi all, The <a href="http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Oversight_Board" target="_blank">Sugar Labs Oversight Board</a> <a href="http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Oversight_Board/2009-2010-candidates" target="_blank">2009-2010 Election</a> is scheduled to run from October 1, 2009 to October 14, 2009. All 7 board seats are up for election. The Sugar Labs Members list is currently frozen. If you're still not in the <a href="http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_Labs/Members/List" target="_blank">members list</a>, email the <a href="mailto:members@sugarlabs.org" target="_blank">membership committee</a> to be put on the list for next year. Our election will be hosted at <a href="http://selectricity.org" target="_blank">Selectricity</a>, a service of the <a href="http://media.mit.edu" target="_blank">MIT Media Lab</a>. For transparency, <a href="http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/User:Dfarning" target="_blank">David Farning</a> will administer the election, as a current Oversight Board Member who is not running for reelection. Ballots will be sent out via email to all Sugar Labs Members. Voting will be run via the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schulze_method">Schulze method</a>. The top four candidates will be elected for two years, and the next three for one year. In case of a dispute over the election a decision will be deferred to David Farning.
