Hi, I want to better understand what I see when I browse the file system of the stick. One developer tells me that the squashfs is just the system files and is never rewritten. Another person writes that all our user files are stored in the squashfs. When I read about squashfs in wikipedia or chat with friends about it, its decribed as read-only and optimized for space. If we are rewritting our squashfs everytime the user saves data, that could be the source of a lot of our failures. If we never rewrite it, then probably its a red harring and we need to look elsewhere. Is there, or could someone write, a documentation page that explains what is where and in what format on our stick? I feel like understanding the current state, being able to communicate it, is the first step towards getting to a better place. Thanks!
