I am all for a global preference for the frame, particularly for setting the timing delay, instant v. slide transition, or corner vs. edge heat. However, "am I hot or not" should be a toggle that can be activated with a key combination, since this may be toggled many times during a single session.

A common transient UI conflict is an activity that has one screen with important stuff near a corner/edge. There should be minimal context-switching needed to toggle the heat off when on that screen, but on otherwise.

Eben I only added a slider for the delay of the activation of the hot corners.
By default the delay is zero.

And since I wanted to test out how the warm edge works in general I added a top
warm edge since I tapped myself moving the mouse there when I wanted to switch
activities.

I can make another rpm with warm edges all around and a separate delay option
so we can test it out how it feels.

Did you actually tested the rpm I provided?

Thanks,
