No I hadn't.<br>
<br>
Thats another to add to the install instructions<br>
on <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_on_Fedora_Core_5">http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_on_Fedora_Core_5</a><br>
<br>
That fixed that error but now<br>
I'm getting another configure error<br>
<br>
configure: error: * * * fribidi >=0.10.4 is required * * *<br>
<br>
Just going to try from scratch. Deleted the previous attempt and going
again from scratch.<br>
<br>
Now failing on building mozilla 20/36<br>
<br>
Error running make<br>

<br>
I've tried rechecking out and forcing configure<br>
just end up with the same error.<br>
<br>
This is getting really frustrating as I've been trying to build this
for three days now.<br>
I need the mini pc to run fedora core 6 and the only other pc I could
install linux on<br>
will need fedora core 6 for proper chipset support.<br>
<br>
The aopen mini pc is a 1.8GHz PM with 1GB ram and 80GB hdd with intel
945 graphics.<br>
Installed fedora core 6 from the cds a few weeks ago and updated via
yum update yesterday.<br>

<pre>There are some problem with the dbus-python build system, but I managed
to compile it in the following way:
cd sugar-jhbuild
./sugar-jhbuild shell
cd source/dbus-python
./autogen.sh
./configure --prefix=$HOME/sugar-jhbuild/build
make
make install
I think the sugar backtrace is related with the dbus-python bindings not
being fully installed.

Getting errors building libabiword, due to enchant, most likely not the
correct version<br>
or due to building with fedora core 6 ?<br>
<br>
I don't have a dbus-python directory<br>
but do have a dbus directory.<br>
<br>
After following your steps ( in source/dbus ). As not everything is
rebuilt<br>
I run ./sugar-jhbuild at the top level /home/alxx/sugar-jhbuild <br>
<br>
get the dbus error,so select go to configure dbus then builds<br>
<br>
Get the same error for mozilla, but that rebuilds okay after a
configure<br>
but then get stuck building libabiword again (same as before)<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Is it possible to iunstall sugar on fedora core 6 and have it work ?<br>
<br>
<br>
I am getting errors due to enchant not being found.<br>
<br>
Now even though I install enchant via yum (fedora core 6 - pentium m
1.8GHz , 1GB ram Aopen mini pc) I keep getting checking for <br>
SPELL... configure: error: Package requirements (enchant >= 1.2.0)
