I configure and make the matchbox-window-manager under the source directory. It requires to install libmatchbox. after installed, I also copy /usr/share/automake-1.9/depcomp to the matchbox-window-manager/, then I enter the following command to build matchbox-window-manager: $ aclocal-1.9 $ autoconf $ automake-1.9 After that I enter sudo ./sugar-jhbuild to build sugar successfully. I think if others can configure/make without error under the source directory, they shouldn't meet my problem.
