[Sugar-devel] Sugarizer Vue.js UI Meeting #9 : 24thAug 2022

Hey everyone,
Today, I had the 9th meeting related to the "Sugarizer Vue.js UI" project
with Lionel Laske.
Tasks I was working on:

   - Task #1: I was writing the icon.js component by creating a new web app.
   - Task #2: I was writing a test for the front-end app.
   - Task #3: I was integrating the `isSugarNative` property, to render the
   old SVG format as well as the new one.

Problems experienced:

   - Task #1: While integrating `changePosition` and `changeColor ` methods
   for icons, faced a lot of issues accessing them from outside the component.
   - Task #2: It's a bit complex to integrate testing in
   this CDN-based project. I will implement this using vueCLI in a
   different repository.
   - Task #3: Using svgStudy concept it's difficult to integrate the old
   format, so will be working on the XmasLight activity concept of rendering
   icons.

Tasks of this week:

   - Task #1: Try to implement a simple application the `mybutton` by
   changing its prop `text` label from outside the component.
   - Task #2: Write a unit test for this new sample button component for
   better understanding.
   - Task #3: Integrate icon.js components property and methods for
   changing props with the help of the concept of task#1 and using the idea of
   XmasLight Activity.
   - Task #4: Add unit testing to the new Sugarizer Icon component.
   - Task #5: Try to integrate the `isSugarNative` property, to render the
   old SVG format as well.

The next meeting is scheduled for next week on Monday.
